“The richer we have become, the poorer we have become morally and spiritually. We have learned to fly the air like birds and swim the sea like fish, but we have not learned the simple art of living together as brothers.” ~Faseeh Rana (a fb friend)
Well, I do not agree with Faseeh Rana in his saying about rich and poor, and the simple art of living. Here I am feeling so much more to know about money, and about being rich.
My opinion: Love is something that we experience only when we live life with someone unconditionally, when we accept someone in our life unreservedly. It has no connection with being rich or poor. When we are in love, we give of our self to the one we love along with all others that are there in our circle or tribe because love teaches us to accept people as they are.
Money is completely different from love. Money has its own belongings which are separate from the love. When we listen to someone saying that “he loves money”, it is actually misused in saying so. Love and money has no connection with one another. Love of money is not love. It may be a compulsion, an emotional need, but it is not love.
Love of money is actually an illusion. People do not actually love money. They may crave for particular objects or possessions for which they need to have money in their pocket. And it is also true that many of human possessions these days do not attract for longer period. So now people want more to possess and need more to have in the pocket.
What do you think?
